As the artist, I dare the viewer to explore the relationship and create a dialogue between the viewer and subject by giving them permission to become a voyeur. This collection of mixed media work challenges the way we think of and view consent and female sexuality. Beware of the Female Body is a body of work using many layers physically onto the prints to create dimension and make the audience question what they’re looking at and why. The work questions what consent is between the viewer and the subject. The collection also explores the biased generalization of women’s bodies and consent.
